Alumnus Randall Moore II named AANA CEO

Randall Moore II (’99)

Randall Moore II (’99), DNP, MBA, CRNA is the new Chief Executive Officer of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), a professional organization representing over 50,000 certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA).

According to a news release from the AANA, Moore has worked as the director of Perioperative and Anesthesia Services at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, Illinois. He recently received his MBA from Southern Illinois University. He holds a DNP from the University of Alabama, a MS from Bradley University, and his BS in nursing from NIU.

He is a retired commissioned officer of the U.S. Army Reserve, and his service includes serving with Forward Surgical Teams in Afghanistan.
